Skin care products can really make a hole in your pocket.
And especially when you suffer with any skin problems, it becomes difficult to
choose what products to trust and what not to. Well I have some solutions for you
so that you can replace high-end skin care products with kitchen ingredients
that are easily available in your pantry and that wouldn’t cost a fortune.
Cleansing with honey
Honey is very good for your skin for its moisturizing
properties. Because of its anti-bacterial properties it also repairs and heals
your skin while cleansing all the impurities.
Scrubbing with gram flour/sugar
Scrubbing once in a while is good for the skin. It helps to
remove all the dead skin cells that stay on your face as build-ups. You can use
the mixture of gram flour and milk to scrub your face or you can also use the
mixture of sugar and lemon juice.
Toning with rose water/apple cider vinegar
Toning can remove excessive dirt on your face making it soft
and smooth. You can use regular rose water as a toner. Another natural toner
could be apple cider vinegar. Mix apple cider vinegar and water with the
proportion of 1:4 respectively. Use a cotton pad to apply or transfer the
mixture into a spray bottle and spray all over your face.
Face mask
There are lot of options for face masks such as:
Neem face mask : Mix neem powder and rose water to form a
paste. Apply it all over your face and wash your face after 15 minutes.
Multani mitti(fuller’s earth) : Make a paste of multani
mitti and rose water and apply on your face. Wash it after 10-15 minutes.
Multani mitti is useful to remove excessive oil on your face.
Yoghurt and turmeric: Yoghurt is really good for the skin
because of its moisturizing properties. You can also add a pinch of turmeric in
it. Apply it on your face and wash it after 10 minutes.
Note* In case you might be
allergic/sensitive to some of the products, do a patch test before applying to all over the face.
Moisturizing with honey/yoghurt : Again, honey is useful for
moisturizing your face. You can either combine honey and yoghurt to moisturize
your face or use them separately.
I really hope these tips help you. Comment down if you try
any of these. J
