Having dry skin and body means you can see flakes all over
the surface of your body. Dry skin is the result of lack of moisture in
your health and body. You cannot just get rid of dry skin by applying products on
the problematic areas but you also have to stay healthy from within. So here
are a few tips on how you can reduce the dryness of your skin and body.
Dry skin (face):
Dry skin has always been a problem of mine and especially when I
can see all those wrinkles on my face when I smile. And I think everyone with dry skin has gone through this phase. That’s annoying. So the
first thing you want to do is make sure that your face wash does not have a
thick consistency. Thick and foaming face wash tends to remove all the oils from
your face…even the good ones!!
The next thing is choosing the right products. Do not go for
toners that have alcohol in them. Instead you can opt for rose water or apple
cider vinegar. Also, moisturize your skin on a daily basis. Apply moisturizer
whenever your skin craves for it.
Use honey or yogurt for your face. Honey has healing
properties so it makes your skin less dry and yogurt makes your skin soft and
keeps it moisturized.
Dry body:
Our entire body tends to get dry in winter season. So try to
avoid very hot water when you shower. Go for lukewarm or not burning hot at
least. After getting a shower, apply baby oil or coconut oil on your body. Baby
oil works really well as it is lightweight and non-sticky. Keep on applying
moisturizer or body lotion as per need.
Also, make sure to eat healthy and drink at least 10 glasses
of water even in winters. It is very important to keep yourself hydrated to
keep that dryness at bay.
So I really hope you enjoy this article. I use these tips on
a daily basis and have worked for me. I hope it turns out to be helpful for you
too. J
